The Pipeline Supervisor is responsible of all pipeline installations at Site/Construction & quality of pipeline activities at site
The incumbent is responsible that Pipeline work is completed is a safe, efficient and timely manner and in compliance with environmental requirements
Promote safety and safe work practices in the workplace with all working people at site
Arranges appropriate JSA for PTW and passes to the Permit coordinator to initiate preparation
Read and understand construction pipeline drawings, specifications and other technical information
Identifies various materials to ensure correct installation
Performs flushing, blowing and pressure testing of piping systems.
Understands flange management techniques.
Witness NDT inspection/other test within their disciplines based on approved Pipeline ITPs
Co-ordinate with TPIs
Ensure Pipeline test packs were reviewed and approved for Hydrotesting as per procedure and responsible for reinstatement
Conduct all site inspections with the site subcontractors & client
Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status and are complied
Collaborate with the Construction Manager, in the establishment of the procedures of supervision and control
Responsible for supervising the sub-contractor Piping technicians/crews in the execution of daily works/activities
Monitors the progress of Pipeline works as per schedule and highlighting constraints to Construction Manager.
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor performance of sub-contractors, ensure personnel are qualified and competent to perform allocated tasks, have valid certification, where required, for the techniques in use
Ensure that the material handed over to the Subcontractor is controlled, preserved and issued for the intended purpose.
